Mr. Toy designs… TOYS!!!
In addition to designing the packaging for these University Games products, I also had the really exciting opportunity to design the game boards and work out the game play with the product manager.
Does anyone remember ColorForms? ColorForms was a repositionable sticker that you could use over and over on a coated surface. San Francisco based University Games owns the ColorForms brand and works with global properties creating toys and games. The toys and games presented here are meant for a really young age group, so they couldn’t be too complex. Just enough to have some simple engagement and maybe some counting. As the games approached a slightly older bracket they could introduce slightly sophisticated color palettes and a little more imagination into the game play.
