Donor recognition creates opportunities for… more donations!
The East Bay SPCA is a non-profit animal rescue, shelter and veterinary clinic. They have facilities in Oakland and Dublin. As a non-profit, they rely on donations for a large part of their operating budget. They have fund raising events and regular solicitations, as well as reaching out to donors individually. At the end of every year, donors are recognized for their contributions on large signs prominently displayed in the lobbies. As a donor, you can just give. But you can also choose to name rooms, groups of rooms, or even areas of buildings. For some donors, it’s an opportunity to memorialize a loved one, whether that’s a pet or person.
