What if we related to the earth as our lover and not as our mother?

That’s the basic premise of ecosexual activists Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens. Just think about how that changes our relationship to the earth, from parent/child to loving partner. This experimental ecosexual performance with a summer camp theme explores that idea and the many ways we can reframe our relationship to the earth.

Above is the brand identity I designed for the show. Below are the announcement postcard; the t-shirt; and several protest signs used in the show. In later versions of the show, the signs were printed out as stickers and given away to show attendees.

Annie Sprinkle, Beth Stephens, and their troupe have performed this show globally at venues such as: the SFMOMA; the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía; and Documenta 14.
